Colonel Sloth – Returns & Refunds Policy

At Colonel Sloth, every piece is crafted in small batches with care using sustainable practices. We encourage mindful shopping to reduce waste and follow a strict but fair returns and refunds policy.

1. Mindful Shopping – No Returns for Sizing or Preference

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges for sizing/fit issues, change of mind, or colour/style differences.
  • Minor variations in fabric, dye, or texture due to lighting or screens are not defects.
  • Size charts and product descriptions are provided to help you make informed decisions.
  • This policy supports our commitment to sustainability and reduced carbon emissions.

2. When Returns Are Accepted

  • Returns are accepted only if the product is defective or damaged at delivery.
  • Conditions:
  • Raise a claim within 48 hours of delivery at support@colonelsloth.com.
  • Provide clear photo/video proof of the defect.
  • Product must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition, with tags and packaging intact.

3. Refunds

  • Refunds are initiated only after the returned item is received, inspected, and approved by our Quality Check team.
  • If the returned product does not match the photos/videos submitted by the customer, the claim will be deemed invalid and no refund will be issued.
  • Approved refunds will be credited within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.
  • Refund amounts may be reduced by:
  • Non-refundable payment gateway/transaction fees (4%)
  • Shipping costs, unless the defect is conclusively our error.

4. Replacements

  • If stock is available, you may request a replacement instead of a refund.
  • If no replacement is available, a refund will be issued as per Clause 4.
  • if replacement is accepted , replacement product will be delivered within 7-10 business days.
  • We do not offer exchange.
  • We do not offer return option.

5. Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled only before processing begins (usually within 2–4 business days of confirmation).
  • A 4% deduction applies to cover payment gateway charges.
  • Once processing starts, no cancellations or modifications are allowed.

6. Fraudulent or False Claims

Every Colonel Sloth product goes through two levels of quality checks before dispatch. This makes the chance of receiving a defective item extremely low.

If a customer is found to:

  • Intentionally damage a product,
  • Submit false or misleading claims/evidence, or
  • Misuse the returns/refunds policy in any manner,

Colonel Sloth reserves the right to:

  • Reject the claim immediately,
  • Blacklist or permanently ban the customer from future purchases, and
  • Recover damages and take legal action under the Indian Penal Code and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

7. Legal Compliance

  • This policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
  • Nothing here affects your statutory rights under Indian law.
